It also states how her ex (Kris) is trying to portray himself as a victim. The daily Mail also play down other news sources as they have reported it from a different angle. It says While reports have surfaced claiming that Katie has her eye on her romance with Kris once more, insiders have insisted this is not the case and he is pursuing her. This shows how Daily Mail try to convey to their audience that they publish the truth. This story is an example of clickbait and isnt quality news that doesnt really inform the audience about anything majorly important. The Daily Mail is known for publishing celebrity stories and this is an example of this.

This is an example of hard news as this is a discovery which can benefit society, especially people who suffer from diabetes and heart disease. The first part of the post is an explanation of how certain medications help aid people who suffer from these conditions. They also use scientists research and the scientists' claims that their 'findings promise for clinicians and drug companies that are considering testing the efficacy of these novel drugs' which creates a sense of positivity and hope for people suffering from these conditions.
